[Ryoga finally returned from a mallynap no one knew about. He often gets lost for long periods of time. People might of thought it was just one of those months where he was away from the village for weeks at time. Who knew? Ryoga certainly didn't! In fact, he knew less now than he did before.

The Malnosso were kind enough to drop him off in the village though, so the eternal lost boy shouldn't be so hard to find. For the event he also had a Couple's mask propped upon his head that didn't quite cover the face. Ryoga was completely unaware of its existence.]

Could someone tell me where I am?

[Just your everyday Ryoga question.]

I think I'm lost.

[Hearing that voice, Rydia turns. She has her own death mask on at the moment, which means he gets to see her severed-and-reattached wings in all their gruesome glory.]

It's just the mask. I can't take it off...and so I'm forced to appear like this.

[No, not explaining that she's had this appearance before and it wasn't an illusion.]

I know, but it doesn't. I'm...fine, though I wish I could be rid of the mask. It won't come off, whatever I try.
